L3 Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an AED
The Level 3 Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an AED course is a half-day first aid course designed to give learners the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond to an unresponsive casualty.
This course teaches the essential steps of the Primary Survey and Secondary Assessment, as well as CPR and the correct use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
In addition, the content can be tailored to focus on either adult or child first aid, depending on your setting.
Flexible and Practical Learning
The course can also include anaphylaxis management for an extra 30 minutes if required. This addition is ideal for workplaces or settings where staff need to be prepared for severe allergic reactions.
Because the training lasts just three to three and a half hours, it’s an efficient way to keep your team up to date and HSE compliant without losing a full day of productivity.
Accredited, Regulated, and Aligned with UK Standards
Every Basic Life Support course is accredited and regulated by Paradigm First Aid.
Our practical sessions always include defibrillator training as standard, and all content is developed in line with Resuscitation Council UK guidelines.
As a result, you can be confident that your training meets the latest professional standards and best practices.
